McLean, VA, January 14, 2026 – Executive 1 Holding Company today announced that Major General (Ret.) Jack J. Catton, Jr. has joined its Board of Advisors.
Catton brings decades of operational and enterprise defense experience spanning requirements, modernization investment planning, operational test, and joint war planning. In the U.S. Air Force, he concluded his career as Director of Requirements, Headquarters Air Combat Command, where he managed requirements and system capabilities, and drove operational evaluation of new and modified systems. He was also Chair of the Combat Air Forces Requirements Oversight Council for modernization investment planning.

Across more than 31 years of service, Catton served as a command pilot and Fighter Weapons School instructor, commanded at squadron/group/wing levels, and held senior roles across the Air Staff, NATO Staff, and Joint Staff. His career also included command of the 53rd Wing, responsible for operational test and evaluation of Air Force combat aircraft and associated tactics, avionics, and electronic combat capabilities.
Following active duty, Catton served as Vice President for Air Force Systems at The Boeing Company, responsible for senior Air Force relationships and collaboration on requirements and capability needs, including program strategies and engagement to support full funding for major initiatives such asT-7A and F-15EX. He now leads Catton Consulting, advising innovative technology companies on effective collaboration with the U.S. Government.

McLean, VA, January 27, 2026 – Executive 1 Holding Company today announced that Vice Admiral (Ret.) Andrew J. Tiongson, U.S. Coast Guard, has joined its Board of Advisors. A retired three-star officer with over 36 years of leadership experience, Vice Adm. Tiongson most recently served as Commander, Coast Guard Pacific Area, responsible for Coast Guard operations spanning the Indo-Pacific, Arctic and Antarctic regions, and to the coast of eastern Africa, while concurrently serving as Commander, Defense Force West in support of the Department of Defense and Combatant Commanders. Tiongson will serve on the Board of Advisors for both CORAS.ai and HumanTouch, two companies managed by EX1, driving Agentic AI, decision intelligence, and digital modernization for defense and civilian federal agencies.
Vice Adm. Tiongson served for four decades in the U.S. Coast Guard and held senior leadership roles, including Director of Operations (J3) at U.S. Southern Command, Commander of the Northeast District, and Assistant Commandant for Resources and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the U.S. Coast Guard, where he oversaw a $12+ billion annual portfolio. As CFO, he helped drive enterprise accountability and achieved two consecutive clean, unqualified audit opinions- the first for any U.S. Armed Service.

Throughout his career, Vice Adm. Tiongson served as a career cutterman with sea duty spanning five Coast Guard cutters and one U.S. Navy ship, including deployment in support of Operation Desert Storm as part of a Coast Guard-Navy exchange program. His afloat leadership included command of USCGC Nantucket (WPB 1316), USCGC Legare (WMEC 912), and USCGC James (WMSL 754), and he served as Executive Officer aboard USCGC Mohawk (WMEC 913).
A 1989 graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Vice Adm. Tiongson holds master's degrees from The George Washington University (Mechanical Engineering; Environmental and Energy Management) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.S. in Engineering and Management). He has also completed executive training, including MIT: Leading Data and Artificial Intelligence, Harvard Law School: Executive Negotiation and Leadership, Harvard Kennedy School: Senior Executives in National and International Security, and DoD PINNACLE and CAPSTONE. Vice Adm. Tiongson currently serves as National Vice President (Coast Guard) for the Surface Navy Association and is a Member of the Board for First Command.

TYSONS, Va., February 1, 2023 –Executive 1 Holding Company (EX1) is proud to announce that Pat Zarodkiewicz, a retired Senior Executive Service (SES) member with nearly 34 years of experience in the Department of the Air Force (USAF) has joined its Board of Advisors. In her final USAF position as the Administrative Assistant (AA) to the Secretary of the Air Force (SAF), Ms. Zarodkiewicz provided advice to SAF and Chief of Staff on executive personnel and Headquarters management, led an organization responsible for over $5.6 billion annually, and supported 37,000 people. As the USAF’s Senior Security Official, she led the Air Force’s insider threat program, information, personnel, and industrial security policy, and provided oversight of Special Access Programs.
“My mission as Board Advisor is to bring my problem-solving perspective and ask the questions that decision-makers need to know,” Ms. Zarodkiewicz said. “My experience is helpful because I haven’t forgotten what that decision-making process feels like, and I can think and approach risk differently and present a balanced case for building stronger and more innovative integrations and solutions.”
